Located in the thick of the mountains lies this uniquely built house in the Village of Nimmoo. The authentic ladakhi house overlooks the Indus and Zanskar Rivers and is land for hundreds of Apricot, Walnut and Apple trees.
Originally built in the early 20th century, the guesthouse is now a humble abode for nature lovers and serenity seekers.
ABOUT THE STAY
The house has about 30 rooms for its guests as well as 5 tents for those who prefer them and not to forget, 2 buddhist temples.
They are home to a variety of cattle, goats and yaks! The entire house is a reflection of traditional ladakhi culture. Be prepared to be mesmerized by the natural beauty of this place.
THE ROOMS
You will be welcomed by large airy rooms with a lounge area, a double bed and a bathroom. Apart from the rooms on the first floor of the three storied house, nestled among the orchards are their huge tents are an absolute pleasure to stay in.
Partitioned into three areas - a room , a bedroom and an attached bathroom. You can sit out and laze around on the hammock and enjoy all the nature and breathtaking beauty all around you.
