HOW IT WORKS

1. How do I start planning my journey with The Wanderbug?

It's simple. Just drop me an email at kritika@wanderbug.in with your tentative travel dates, preferred destination and number of travellers. I will contact you to get more information about your interests and start designing a journey plan for you.

I work closely with travellers to select the options and experiences best suited to their tastes. Once I arrive at a journey plan that travellers are happy with, I make all necessary bookings, communicate and co-ordinate with various service providers before and during the journey, and handle all payments and confirmation for the travellers.

2. What does The Wanderbug charge for this service?

I charge a fixed planning fees of 20% of the total trip cost.

As an independent travel service provider, The Wanderbug receives special discounted rates from accommodation, transport and activity partners. These rates are typically 15-20% lower than what is available to travellers who book directly.

The fixed 20% planning fees is charged on these special, discounted rates. Therefore, my planning fees does not lead to any significant cost increase for the travellers.

3. Why should you plan your journey with The Wanderbug?

The journey options made available to you by The Wanderbug will be absolutely unique, allowing you to discover unseen beauty in India. I specialise in curating and sharing some of India's most unique properties, whether they are charming homestays, remote cabins, eco-retreats or boutique hotels.

I personally travel all around India in order to see everything with my own eyes and get first hand knowledge about the country and its myriad facets. This allows me to really understand what experiences are suited for which kind of travellers, allowing me to plan excellent journeys for Wanderbugs!
Because in the end the total trip cost is more or less the same when planning and booking your journey directly or through The Wanderbug. If you choose The Wanderbug, you end up spending a little more, but you also get access to my planning, execution and trip assistance for your journey.
