The Lake-side Home is a charming bungalow perched atop a hillock near Pawana lake, offering stunning views, a cozy stay, heart-warming hospitality and an excellent overall experience. It's is a must visit for nature lovers seeking a quick and charming weekend getaway.

Surrounded by lush paddy fields with lime green pasture, gorgeous skies, and stunning landscape, the house is a refreshing change from our otherwise chaotic city lives.

ABOUT THE STAY

The bungalow is an ivy-covered, stone house owned by a very sweet family from Mumbai. Set amidst lush greenery, the house offers stunning views of Tung Hill and Pawna Lake.

White distressed walls, cute niches, solid wood doors, four poster beds and little quirks collected by the hosts - All these elements come together to make the experience warm and homely.

THE ROOMS

There are two bedrooms and bathrooms, a large living room, a kitchen and a front porch in the main house. A few steps away, there is an independent cottage, called the Honeymoon Suite. It is a cute and cosy space ideal for couples travelling in groups of friends or family.

All the rooms are designed carefully, ensuring travellers are comfortable and have all the elements required to relax and unwind.

THE CREW

There are three care-takers at the house - Mirabai, Raju and Savita. While Mirabai cooks up some delicious local food like Misal Pav, Poha, Chicken Curry and dal, Raju is an expert at BBQ-ing. Savita ensures that the house stays clean and tidy and is ever-ready to make you a cup of yummy ginger chai!

All their efforts combine to make your stay hassle-free, comfortable and full of yumminess :)

For travellers who like to stay in and relax, there are various indoor and outdoor spaces that act as lovely reading corners. If you like your day to have a soulful start and end, the beautiful front porch is a great place to practice some early morning yoga and late night star gazing.

A five minute walk down from the house and you will be surrounded by lush green mountains, quaint villages and a serene lake side where you can have a nice cup of tea.

For activity seekers, there's lots to do as well. There are some spots nearby where you can go kayaking in the lake, visit some ancient Buddhist caves or make your way to Lonavala.
