ABOUT THE STAY

The colonial-style structure was originally a summer home to Sumant Batra, a Delhi based lawyer/writer/poet that he later converted into a luxury boutique hotel with all his love.

The stay is nestled high up in the Kumaon Himalayas surrounded by quaint villages and forests, commanding spectacular views of breath-taking landscape. The entire hotel is very aesthetically pleasing with charming yellow roofs, huge decks and terraces, antique furniture, massive glass windows and wooden floors.

THE ROOMS

The hotel offers a combination of eleven rooms and suites, all with unique names and design. All the rooms are beautifully designed with lush beds, carefully picked furnishings to match the style of the room and gorgeous drapes and linen.

Each room has its own name and character - The Master's Bedroom, The Attic, The Long House, The Morning Room, Three Steps Down and so on. Every suite consists of a double room, a small day room and a private garden or balcony.

The hotel has an excellent team of managers, chefs and guides who act as the most wonderful hosts. The entire team, managed by Ashish and Dev, works towards ensuring your experience is magical and you're always taken care of.
